What better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than with a parking ticket? Don't get caught out this long weekend! Give your beau a thoughtful gift by registering their license plate at vop.mfps.ca as soon as they arrive.
You asked, and we listened! Since vehicle registration for visitors came into effect on December 21, 2014, residents have reported that guests are finding parking spots much easier to come by. Check out the notice below for more information on how to register your guests' vehicles and avoid a fine or tow.

Residents of Village on the Park are entitled to security for themselves, their home, and their belongings. At the same time, each resident also has an obligation to ensure that a certain level of security is maintained. Each of us can help to prevent crime before it happens by being alert and following some simple guidelines. Learn these tips, make them part of your everyday habits and teach them to your children.
You should know your neighbours, and they should know you. This knowledge makes a stronger community and helps us to know who should be on the premises.
Never allow strangers to enter the building as you are leaving or entering. Be aware of anybody hanging around the door who makes a dash to hold open the door after it has been unlocked.
Outer doors should be closed and locked at all times. Never leave an outer door propped open.
When your intercom rings, check the identity of the person(s) seeking entry. Do not buzz anyone into the building if you do not recognize their name and/or their voice.
If you lose your keys, have your lock replaced.
The garage doors to enter the underground parking area are activated by your key fob. On your way in and out of the parking garage, after your vehicle has cleared the sensor, pause briefly and wait until the door starts to close. This will prevent access by unauthorized vehicles and individuals.
Always lock your vehicle and remove any valuables.
Thanks for helping your community stay safe!
